Software built from a written scope, demoed every two weeks, and yours from the first commit.

You talk directly to the engineers who build it. The free 30-minute call ends with a rough approach and next steps.

Starting from

Fig. 1How we usually modernize a system people use every day.

  1. a: Traffic goes through a new API layer, so features can move across one at a time.
  2. b: New work is built in your cloud account from the first sprint.
  3. c: Data stays in sync in both directions until the final switch.

What the first month looks like

It depends on where you’re starting from. This follows your “Starting from” choice above.

Starting from: Systems that can’t go down. Change

You want AI or the cloud without breaking what works

What’s usually going on

Core systems can’t go down, data has rules around it, and every change needs to survive review.

Your first month

  1. Week 0

30-minute call, then a written scope

  2. Within 48 hours of sign-off

Kickoff, inside your security and change processes

  3. End of sprint one

Assessment of the systems involved and a migration path, with rollback at every step

  4. After that

Staged migration, one step at a time, each with a tested way back

How a project runs

The same steps whether it’s a six-week build or a year-long migration. You always know what happens next, and you have it in writing.

  1. 1

    Day 0

    A 30-minute call

You tell us what’s broken or what you want to build. We ask about users, data, deadlines and what you have already tried. No slides.

  2. 2

    A few days later

    A written scope

A short document: what we’ll build, what we won’t, milestones, risks and an estimate. You can take it to anyone for a second opinion.

  3. 3

    Within 48 hours of sign-off

    Kickoff

Repository, staging environment and a shared channel are set up. You meet the engineers who will do the work.

  4. 4

    Every two weeks

    Sprints with a live demo

Working software on staging, not a status report. You can change priorities at every demo.

  5. 5

    Launch

    Release and handover

Production deploy, monitoring, documentation and a walkthrough for your team.

  6. 6

    After

    Support, if you want it

Monthly support and improvements, or a clean handover to your own developers.

On every project, whatever the size

  • You own the code and the repository from the first commit.
  • Automated tests and CI on every project.
  • Standard tools, deployed to your cloud account. No lock-in.

Access and risk

  • We work in your cloud and code accounts, with access you control and can revoke.
  • We sign an NDA before any detailed conversation, if you want one.
  • Every migration or release step has a tested way back.
  • Documentation and access are handed over, so nothing depends on one person.

Inventory sync service

Goal

Stock levels in the warehouse system and the online store match within 5 minutes, without anyone exporting a spreadsheet.

In scope

  • Sync job for products, stock and prices
  • Error alerts to the ops channel
  • Admin page to retry failed items

Not in scope

  • Changes to the warehouse system itself

Milestones

  • Sprint 1: read-only sync on staging
  • Sprint 2: two-way sync, alerts
  • Sprint 3: admin page, go live

Risks

  • Supplier API rate limits. Plan: queue and batch.

Nubinex modernized our software and migrated everything to the cloud with zero downtime. Our team is about three times more efficient now.”

Questions people ask first

Anything not covered here, ask on the call. You’ll get a straight answer.

How do you price projects?

After the first call we write a scope with an estimate. Defined projects are priced per milestone. Ongoing work and team extension are billed monthly. You see the number before anything starts.

How long does a project take?

You get a timeline in the written scope, before anything starts. Work ships in two-week sprints, so you see working software from the first one. A first version of a new product typically takes four to eight weeks; a large migration runs in stages over months.

How quickly can you start?

Kickoff is usually within 48 hours of signing off the scope.

Who owns the code?

You do. The repository lives in your account from day one and everything is handed over at the end.

How do you handle access and security?

We work inside your own cloud and code accounts, with access you grant and can revoke at any time. Every migration or release step has a tested way back, and documentation and access are handed over at the end, so nothing depends on one person.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes, before the first detailed conversation if you prefer.

Can you take over an existing codebase?

Yes. We start with a short code and infrastructure review so we can tell you what is worth keeping before we change anything.

Where are you, and when do you work?

We work on Eastern Time with clients across North America, and overlap with European and Asian time zones when a project needs it.

Tell us what’s broken, or what you want to build.

You’ll talk to an engineer. If we aren’t the right fit, we’ll tell you and suggest who might be.
